Butterscotch has already been through more than any puppy ever should. Before he, his mama, and his siblings were found walking down the middle of a busy highway, Butterscotch had been hit by a car while still with his previous owner. Sadly, despite his injury, he was never given the care he needed.

When he came into rescue, it was clear he was badly hurt. But thanks to an amazing veterinary team and supporters who helped make it possible, Butterscotch underwent major surgery and now has a plate in his leg.

The best part? He is expected to heal beautifully and live a happy, normal life.

Through it all, Butterscotch has remained incredibly sweet, loving, and gentle. He adores attention, cuddles, and being close to his people. This brave little boy is proof of just how resilient dogs can be.

Now Butterscotch is ready for the next chapter - a forever home where he will always be safe, loved, and cared for the way he deserves.
