Meet Scout!

Scout's story didn't start the way every dog deserves. He and two other dogs were heartlessly dumped on a lonely, secluded country road, left to fend for themselves. They survived by hiding in a brush pile, waiting and hoping someone would come. By the time they were rescued, Scout was so hungry that he would have eaten just about anything.

Despite everything he's been through, Scout hasn't given up on people. He's a sweet, gentle boy with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging once he knows he's safe. Every meal, every kind word, and every belly rub reminds him that life can be good.

Now Scout is searching for the one thing he's never truly had-a family who will love him forever and never leave him behind again. Could that family be yours?

The Collie is a graceful and intelligent dog known for their loyalty, gentle nature, and exceptional herding abilities. They come in two coat varieties, rough and smooth, with colors ranging from sable and white to blue merle. Collies excel in obedience training and thrive on mental stimulation and physical activity. Their keen intuition and strong bond with their owners make them wonderful family pets and reliable working dogs in tasks such as herding livestock or in search and rescue missions.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
