Gus - Labrador Retriever and Hound Dog for Adoption in Rock Hill, South Carolina

Named after the unforgettable Gus McCrae from Lonesome Dove, this handsome boy is every bit as charming as his namesake.

With his rich brown coat and the adorable dusting of black on the end of his snout that looks like a permanent five o'clock shadow, Gus has a distinguished look that makes him hard to forget. But it's his sweet nature that will truly win your heart.

Gus is a curious little explorer who loves checking out the world around him. He's independent enough to entertain himself and confidently investigate new sights and sounds, yet he's also a loving puppy who enjoys affection and a good nap. He has the perfect blend of confidence and sweetness.

If you're looking for a loyal sidekick with a little bit of western charm and a lot of heart, Gus just might be your perfect match!
