Juno - Border Collie and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Rock Hill, South Carolina
JUNO
Border Collie, Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Rock Hill, South Carolina
October 4th
female, medium, young
DESCRIPTION
Juno is sweet, gentle, and enjoys playing just as much as napping. She loves to snuggle beside you, give kisses, and greet you with a smile when you get home from work.
Juno is very timid around new people and in unfamiliar places. She needs a patient adopter who will give her time to settle in and build trust without rushing her.
Another dog in the home is a non-negotiable requirement. Juno relies on other dogs to help her feel safe and figure out new people and places. A confident, friendly dog who can show her the ropes and be a playmate would be a great fit.
With time and a familiar routine, Juno becomes a loving, playful companion. She needs a family willing to let her get comfortable at her own pace.
As of mid September, Juno is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and is handling treatment well. She will need to continue to refrain from heavy exercise in the next couple of weeks - which she doesn’t seem to mind based on her relaxed demeanor!

ABOUT: BORDER COLLIE DOG BREED
The Border Collie is a highly intelligent and energetic dog breed known for their herding capabilities and exceptional obedience. Originating from the border regions of Scotland and England, these agile and versatile dogs are famous for their focus, stamina, and trainability. With their striking black and white coat and intense gaze, Border Collies excel in various canine sports and activities, making them ideal companions for active families and individuals seeking a loyal and dynamic pet.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
