Meet Maverick

Maverick is an adorable lab mix puppy (DNA reesults soon!) who is an absolute blast to be around. At just 4–5 months old and about 20 pounds, he's full of personality, energy, and love.

Maverick was one of six puppies found alone in the woods — terrified, hungry, and severely malnourished. But it didn't take long for him to realize that life could be good. His foster mom and dad quickly showed him that people bring hugs, kisses... and plenty of food.

He can still be a little unsure if you leave and return without announcing yourself, but once he knows it's you, his sweet, affectionate side shines. Maverick is incredibly cuddly and loves giving kisses. He's also a curious little guy who wants to take in everything around him — sometimes he just needs a gentle reminder that it's time to rest.

One of his favorite things? Sitting and observing the world... preferably from your lap. If you sit down, don't be surprised if he hops right up to join you.

Maverick is smart and eager to learn, and his potty training is already coming along nicely.

The Basics:


First round of vaccinations complete (including rabies)
Will be neutered, microchipped, and receive additional vaccines
Ready for his forever home after April 30
