Meet Tilly Girl
Tilly is an approximately 2-year-old tri-color Beagle who came from a Missouri shelter as a stray. She's about 25 lbs—petite, fit, and ready for her forever home. She's spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped.
Tilly is a shy, cautious girl, but also curious and making steady progress every day. When she first arrived, everything scared her—but now she's starting to relax, explore, and even play a little.
She keeps her space clean and crates herself at night, often choosing it as her safe spot. While she's not a cuddler yet, she enjoys gentle head scratches and will stay close once she feels comfortable.
Tilly is quiet overall, but has recently started to find her voice—especially at mealtime, where she'll do a cute little “dance” for her food. She enjoys being outside with other dogs and is beginning to engage more. She has not had any potty accidents in the house.
She'll need a patient home willing to help her build confidence, as she's still unsure about leashes and new situations. A secure environment will be important for her safety.
Tilly doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body—just a gentle heart that needs time and understanding.
If you're willing to go slow and let her grow, Tilly Girl will be worth it. You can apply for Tilly at www.bassetandbeagle.org. Her adoption fee is $400.00
