Dougie's story before rescue is a mystery, but one thing is certain-this handsome boy is ready for a fresh start with a family of his own.
Found abandoned on a farm, Dougie can be a little timid when faced with new people, places, and experiences. The good news? Once he realizes he's safe, his sweet personality starts to shine. He's already discovered one of the best parts of family life: snuggling on the sofa!
Dougie gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a great candidate for many different types of homes. After he's comfortable, his playful and goofy side comes out, and he loves spending time with his people. He's the kind of dog who wants to be part of whatever you're doing.
He's already crate trained and walks nicely on a leash. Because he likely didn't have much experience living indoors before rescue, he's still learning some household routines and manners. Dougie will do best with a patient family that can provide consistency, encouragement, and time to adjust. In return, you'll gain a loyal companion who will reward your patience with plenty of affection and devotion.
