Bubba - Labrador Retriever and Black Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Middletown, Rhode Island

Bubba is 2 years old and 70 pounds of perfection. Bubba is pretty much the perfect pup who will easily fit into just about any home! When he first arrived at his foster home he didn’t have much interest in eating. However, once his foster let him sleep in their room and he felt right at home, his appetite improved and fell right into their routine!

Bubba is super friendly and loves all the cuddles and attention! He has a fun, spunky, personality and enjoys playing with toys and other dogs. When playtime is over, he’s just as happy lounging around the house and relaxing with his people. Bubba seems almost perfect, unless you are looking for someone to ward off intruders – his foster doesn’t think she has ever heard him bark! For a young guy, he is also very good about sticking to his bones and chew toys and hasn’t chewed on anything inappropriate.

Bubba doesn’t need a super active home and would be perfectly fine with someone who may be gone for longer periods during the day. He doesn’t require being crated when his people leave the house. He has done well with all the dogs in his foster home and can live with cats, but he does require some patience and probably needs a dog savvy cat. He would do well in a home with or without children. His biggest requirement? Someone needs to be home at night to provide a sufficient number of cuddles!

Bubba is just an all-around amazing dog. He’s sweet, affectionate, playful, and incredibly easy to love. He has a fun, spunky side but is also perfectly happy relaxing at home and cuddling up with his people. He is house trained, leashed trained, and enjoys car rides! He’s easygoing, well-behaved, and would fit into many different types of homes. Bubba really doesn’t ask for much, he just wants a loving family, a comfy place to call home, and plenty of cuddles at the end of the day. He truly is one of those special dogs that will make someone wonder how they ever lived without him.
