MARLEY (see also DIXIE) - Labrador Retriever and Beagle Dog for Adoption in Marietta, Georgia

Marley - 23320 - Kennel 827 - Arrived October 11, 2026 - Labrador Retriever and Beagle mix - black and white - female - 15 years old - 55 lbs - Spayed - Up to date on vaccines - Heartworm negative

Fifteen years is a long time to share your life with a best friend, and Marley has done exactly that with Dixie. She is a sturdy, solid girl with a black coat, a soft grey muzzle, and dark, thoughtful eyes that seem to carry a lifetime of memories. She wears every one of her years beautifully.

Marley arrived at Cobb Animal Services on October 11, 2026, with Dixie at her side. Neither of them has known what it’s like to be apart, and neither has been through a change like this one. They are both confused right now, and they have spent much of their time watching the parking lot. With a little patience, a quiet space, and a gentle voice, we know they’ll settle in.

Marley weighs 55 pounds and knows sit and stay. She is house trained and good with children, dogs, and cats, and her calm presence would fit easily into a home of nearly any kind. Adopting a senior dog is one of the most meaningful things you can do. Seniors are so often overlooked, and no one is more grateful for a kind home than a dog who has seen as much of life as Marley has.

If you have room for two, Marley and Dixie would be a beautiful pair to welcome home together. Their bond is the story of their whole lives, and we would love to see it continue. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. Come meet her in kennel 827.
