Dolly - Labrador Retriever and Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Lagrange, Indiana

🎶💕 HERE SHE COMES AGAIN... AND THIS TIME, DOLLY IS LOOKING FOR FOREVER! 💕🎶

Some dogs arrive at Ark through the front door.

Dolly made us work for it. 😂

This frightened little stray had been surviving on her own and was so scared that it took TWO WEEKS to finally bring her to safety. Families in the area worked 9 to 5--quite literally--trying to earn her trust, keep track of her, and finally get this scared girl somewhere safe.

And then came the part we couldn't have planned if we tried.

Dolly was finally rescued on the anniversary of Dolly Parton's passing.

Okay, Dolly... we hear you. 🎶❤️

Our Dolly arrived scared and unsure of humans, but little by little, she's learning that hands can be gentle, voices can be kind, food arrives every day, and maybe--just maybe--humans aren't so bad after all.

She's coming around beautifully.

Now we're looking for the person willing to tell her, "I Will Always Love You."

Someone patient enough to let Dolly come out of her shell on Dolly Time. Someone who understands that earning the love of a frightened dog is something pretty darn special.

And once she decides you're hers?

Well, Islands in the Stream had Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton...

Miley Cyrus had her famous Jolene connection with Dolly...

But OUR Dolly?

She just needs YOU. 🐾

No more running.
No more hiding.
No more wondering where her next safe place will be.

Dolly, you worked hard enough 9 to 5 just trying to survive.

Now it's time for the good part.

🏡 A home.
❤️ A family.
🐾 And someone who will always love you.

Come meet Dolly at Ark. You may walk in humming Jolene... but you'll walk out singing "Here You Come Again." 🎶💕
