Barney is an approximately 2-year-old, 30-pound, tri-color Beagle who was found roaming as a stray. Nobody came looking for this handsome little guy, so Barney is officially looking forward--not back!

At just 30 pounds, he's the perfect compact adventure buddy. Beagles are famous for their curious noses, happy personalities, floppy ears, and their absolute determination to investigate every interesting smell the world has to offer. Barney is right on brand!

He's young, adorable, and just the right age to start building a life with his new person. Take him for walks. Let him sniff every blade of grass. Buy him the ridiculous treats. Give him a spot on the couch. And prepare yourself for those Beagle eyes to convince you that he has never been fed in his entire life. 😂

Barney didn't choose to become a stray, but he DOES get a chance to choose what comes next.
