Scotty - Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Irwin, Pennsylvania

Oh hello there!

My name is Scotty and I'm currently searching for my forever home. I am hoping to find a family who can offer me the perfect mix of leisurely walks and couch cuddle time!

I'm a very affectionate guy who is around 2 years old, fixed, about 65lbs. I am house broken and crate trained, but if it were up to me, I'd sleep in the same room as my foster family every night because being around them is when I'm the happiest. I am still learning my leash manners, but I'm a sucker for treats and learn voice commands quickly. My favorite is “speak” because it makes my foster mom laugh every time.

I have experience with kids 1 to 14 years old. However my foster family has learned that small kids make me a bit anxious, so I'd prefer to be in a home that has older children. I'm curious about my ferret and feline housemates, but I respect their space and I like to annoy them by following them around until they hide someplace that I can't seem to fit.

Considering that the beginning of my story was a sad one, I needed a little time to show my foster mom who I really was. But once I came out of my shell, there was no looking back. I'm easy going, as sweet as they come, and I'm ready for the part of my story that brings me a new family to love.
