Meet Jax!

Hi everyone, I’m Jax, a handsome 6-year-old black Lab with a laid-back personality and a heart full of love!

I’m looking for a new forever home through LOLIN, but please know that my family didn’t give me up because they didn’t love me. They absolutely loved me and never wanted to rehome me. Unfortunately, my adopters became sick and could no longer care for me, so I’m back with LOLIN while I wait for my next chapter.

I’m a pretty easygoing guy. I’m good with children of all ages, good with other dogs, and I’ve even lived happily with a cat. I’m house trained, I don’t need to be crated, and my favorite pastime is relaxing in my dog bed. Every now and then, I may decide the sofa looks pretty comfortable, too!

I’ll admit, I’m a little too enthusiastic about food. I’m currently carrying a few extra pounds, so my foster family is helping me get in shape. I’m happy to participate in this fitness plan—as long as nobody leaves a loaf of bread unattended on the kitchen counter. Let’s just say I once took that opportunity very seriously!

Mostly, I’m a sweet, mellow, food-loving guy who enjoys the simple things in life: a comfy bed, good food, being around my people, and a peaceful place to call home.
