Hi there! My name is Calliope, and I’m a black Labrador. Right now, I’m 13 weeks old, and I weigh a solid 23 pounds. That’s a lot of puppy for my age, I know! My tail wags so hard when I think about all the fun things I get to do.

My favorite part of the day? Squeaky toys, of course! Nothing makes me happier than a good old-fashioned squeak-a-thon. I love to chase them, pounce on them, and make them squeak as loud as possible. Sometimes, my humans laugh, and that makes me happy too.

Speaking of humans, I really, really love kids. They are giggly and they’re always up for a game of fetch or tug-of-war. Other dogs are pretty great too. We can tumble and wrestle and get all our puppy energy out together. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I'm not sure how I'll do with them.

My humans say I’m a pretty easy pup, which I think is a compliment. I’m already house-trained, which means I know to do my business outside. Hooray for not making messes inside! I’m also crate-trained. My crate is like my own little den, a safe and cozy place where I can snooze.

I do have one little request, though. My humans say a fence would be great. It would give me even more space to run and play safely in the yard. I promise to use it for good, like chasing squirrels (but not catching them, of course!) and practicing my zoomies. I can’t wait for all the adventures that are still to come!
