Cotton is a gentle, sensitive girl whos just beginning to discover what love really feels like. She came from a difficult hoarding situation where she didnt receive the care or attention she deserved. She arrived very underweight, but with good food, patience, and kindness, shes slowly gaining strength and confidence every single day.

This sweet soul can be a little shy when you first meet her, and thats okay. The world is still a big, new place for Cotton, and shes looking for someone who understands that trust takes time. But when she starts to feel safe, youll see it... the soft eyes, the quiet tail wags, the gentle presence that just wants to be near you.

Cotton would do best in a calm, loving home where life moves at a slower pace and she can continue to blossom in her own time. Shes not the kind of dog who will rush into your arms right away, but she is the kind who will build something deeper, a quiet, loyal bond thats truly special.

*We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.

*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.

*Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.

*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
