DESCRIPTION
Meet Squawk! This happy, social boy is always excited to see his people and has a way of making sure you know it. He loves treats, enjoys playing with toys, and especially loves squeaky toys. He's also a big fan of attention and often greets his favorite people with a big hug!
Squawk is a fun, outgoing guy who can entertain himself with toys and treats, but he'd much rather have his people nearby. He also enjoys playing with other dogs. He does best with fewer distractions around him so he can stay focused and comfortable.
Squawk keeps a clean kennel for the most part, although he may have an occasional accident. He isn't a huge fan of being in his kennel and may fuss at first, but he does settle down with some time.
His name actually came from his previous shelter, where he was known for getting noticed when he wanted attention. And honestly, it fits him pretty well! Squawk is a sweet, expressive boy who loves being around people and is always ready for some affection, playtime, or a tasty treat.
ABOUT: LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
