Meet Duncan!

Duncan may have had a difficult beginning, but you would never know it from the happy-go-lucky puppy he is today. Found abandoned on the side of the road and severely underweight, Duncan has embraced his second chance at life with endless joy, love, and tail wags.

This sweet boy adores other dogs and has wonderful manners when it comes to playtime. He loves making friends and is especially gentle with his canine companions. Whether he's showing off his expert-level zoomies, inviting everyone to a game of chase, or challenging his buddies to a round of tug (his favorite game!), Duncan is always ready for fun.He's a great passenger in the car and enjoys tagging along for adventures.

Duncan is also respectful of cats and has shown that he can peacefully coexist with feline friends.

Not only is Duncan adorable and loving, but he's also a smart pup. He is crate trained, settles beautifully in his crate, and sleeps through the night without a peep. He's making excellent progress with his potty training and continues to learn new routines every day.

Duncan is the kind of dog who reminds you how resilient animals can be. Despite everything he's been through, he greets each day with enthusiasm, affection, and a heart full of love. He's ready to leave his past behind and find a family who will cherish him forever.

Our standard adoption fee is $465. We offer a $15 discount for adopters who pay by cash or check, making the adoption fee $450.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal test, deworming, current on flea and tick preventative, and microchip.

To ensure the best match for both our dogs and adopters, we require a fully completed adoption application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with the entire household. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed.

Submitting an application does not guarantee adoption and does not obligate you to adopt; it simply allows us to begin the review process.
