Hi there! My name is Chapel Roam — I got my name because I was found wandering along Chapel Road in Tennessee, and now I’m on the hunt for something much better… my forever home!
I’m an 11-week-old female puppy, likely a shepherd mix, and I’m equal parts playful energy and sweet snuggles. I love a good game of fetch (tennis balls are my favorite!) and tug-of-war with my squeaky toys and ropes. When playtime is over, I’m more than happy to curl up next to you for some cozy cuddle time.
I’m already off to a great start with training! I’m almost fully crate trained and about 95% potty trained — I just need a consistent schedule to help me stay on track. I’m also learning my basic manners like sit, stay, lay down, and even waiting patiently for my food. I’m a smart girl and very treat-motivated, so I catch on quickly!
Like most puppies, I’m still figuring out the world and can be a little mouthy during play, but I’m easily redirected with toys and positive guidance. With a little consistency, I’ll grow into a well-mannered companion in no time.
I would love a home with a family who’s ready for all the fun (and love!) that comes with raising a puppy. I’d likely do great with kids, other dogs, and even cats with proper introductions. I have so much love to give and can’t wait to find my people!
Could that be you?
Our standard adoption fee is $465. We offer a $15 discount for adopters who pay by cash or check, making the adoption fee $450.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal test, deworming, current on flea and tick preventative, and microchip.
To ensure the best match for both our dogs and adopters, we require a fully completed adoption application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with the entire household. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed.
Submitting an application does not guarantee adoption and does not obligate you to adopt; it simply allows us to begin the review process.
To request an application or for additional details, please email adopt@safehavendogsIL.org
Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
Safe Haven Dog Rescue reserves the right to approve or decline any adoption application based on the best interest of the dog.
