Meet Piper, a beautiful 2-year-old mixed-breed girl with soulful eyes, a gentle heart, and so much love to give!

Piper was adopted earlier this year, but sadly, she is being returned through absolutely no fault of her own. Her adopter experienced an unexpected life change and was unable to keep her. Now, this sweet girl is looking for a second chance at the forever home she deserves.

Piper can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her personality truly shines! She loves snuggling with her people, going on walks, and playing with other dogs. In fact, Piper absolutely loves other dogs! She would likely thrive in a home with a friendly, confident canine companion who can help her continue building her confidence.

Piper is already potty trained and has received great reports from previous pet sitters. She's still working on her leash manners and can occasionally bark at unfamiliar people, especially around the house. She hasn't been crate trained, so she'll benefit from a patient family willing to help her continue learning. Her history with cats and children is unknown.

What Piper needs most is a little patience, a lot of love, and a family who will give her the time she needs to feel safe. She's a sensitive, sweet girl who just needs someone to believe in her.

Piper has already experienced the heartbreak of losing a home once, and we're hoping her next home will be the one she gets to call hers forever.
