Pongo - Siberian Husky Dog for Adoption in Denver, Colorado

Say hi to Pongo! This handsome husky is timid at first greeting and takes a little time to warm up. He came to us via a freedom ride from LA and has opened up more and more with each passing day. That first forehead kiss is a drug-free high!

He is potty-trained AND is sleeping through the night. He is also semi crate-trained. While he does love to sleep and exist in his crate, panic sets in once the door locks. We are currently working on getting him accustomed to being left alone in that safe space, but he will need a family willing to finalize this training.

He loves to sleep, destroy any toy with fluff, and explore as much as a leash will allow outside. He also loves the company of other dogs. He would do well in a home with a confident canine companion to help show him the ropes and get that personality to shine through.

Sweet Pongo would also love a human companion that will show him patience, understanding, and lots of love once he's comfortable. I truly believe that in his forever home, he will discover his confidence and be a perfect dog and member of your family. He is already showing that he is very smart and has a love of fun.
