Rocket - Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Defiance, Ohio

Hi, I'm Rocket! I'm a VERY handsome Black Lab mix with two very important hobbies: making friends and finding water. Preferably at the same time.

I came to FDHS after I was found wandering around, and sadly, my previous owner never came looking for me. Now I'm ready to trade my solo adventures for a forever family of my very own. The humans here quickly learned one thing about me: I am absolutely a water dog. Puppy pools, swimming, and anything involving a good splash are my idea of a perfect day.

I'm a friendly, fun loving guy with plenty of energy to share. I do have a bit of an adventurous streak, so I'll need a securely fenced yard or a family who's ready to keep me busy with walks, playtime, and plenty of enrichment. I'm happiest when I have a job to do, a place to explore, and people to share my adventures with.

I've been friendly with kids and other dogs, and I'd love a home that's ready for all the fun, loyalty, and happiness that comes with a dog like me.
