Fanta - Labrador Retriever and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Cheyenne, Wyoming

*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT ***

Meet Fanta! He is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is just about ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'down' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent.

Mr. Fanta is a happy and confident pup! He likes both other canines and people. He wouldn't mind a canine sibling in his new home but would be fine without one too. He LOVES having the zoomies and gets them often. It's a very cute thing to watch.

He does well in his kennel and is house trained. A tasty bone is helpful to help his boredom in his kennel when he is left alone.

When Fanta first met cats, he was a little hesitant, but we feel with constant supervision and slow introductions he might be ok. If you have a cat, we can always reintroduce him once he graduates.

Due to his mouthy behavior, we feel he would do best in a home with kids over 5 years old.
He has well-balanced energy. He will run around outside but settle in once inside. He will be ready towards the end of October for his new beginning. Apply to meet him today!

The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
