Charity - Labrador Retriever and Basset Hound Dog for Adoption in Buford, Georgia

If you can't resist low-riders you are going to love this girl!

Sweet, gentle Charity is about 3 years old and 45 lbs. She was quite terrified and shut down in the shelter, but now that she's in a wonderful foster home she is slowly coming out of her shell..

Charity loves and takes comfort in the company of other dogs, so we are looking for a home for her that has a sweet dog sibling for her.

She is a timid girl, so we think a home on the quieter side would be ideal.

Charity is currently in heartworm treatment, but we are already accepting applications for her.

If you think this sweet little short girl could be the one you've been dreaming of, please copy and paste the application link below into your browser to submit!

The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Originating from France, they were originally bred for hunting small game like rabbits due to their keen sense of smell and sturdy build. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. With their low energy levels and love for lounging, they make wonderful companion dogs for families seeking a loyal and easygoing pet.

The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.
