Meet Blaize

2 years old | Male | Approximately 65 pounds | Lab mix

Blaize is a handsome, playful Lab mix who needs a new foster home through no fault of his own. His adopter is experiencing ongoing health concerns and no longer has the time or space needed to give him the active, fulfilling life he deserves.

Blaize is neutered, current on his veterinary care, leash trained, and crate trained. He is still working on becoming completely housebroken, so his foster should be prepared to continue helping him establish a consistent routine.

He has been around children and is described as friendly and playful. Blaize has also done well around other dogs; however, he can be territorial around food. Any foster home with other pets will need to feed him separately and carefully manage food, treats, and other high-value items. He has not been tested with cats.

Blaize's ideal foster:



Has room for an energetic, 65-pound dog


Can provide regular exercise, attention, and playtime


Will continue working on his house-training routine


Can safely manage feeding and high-value items around other pets


Will give him patience and time to adjust to another transition



Blaize's family wants what is best for him, but we cannot bring him back into the rescue without an available foster home. If you can provide Blaize with a safe place to land while we search for his new forever family, please reach out as soon as possible.
