Meet Charley (aka gramps). Charley came to Buffalo from Kentucky, where he was found by animal control, but unfortunately not claimed by his previous owner. Charley is a senior dog, but he's in a bit of denial about it. He has a Mohawk currently to show he's “hip” and that he's “still got it” (his words).
Charley hasn't let his age hold him back from being the best dog. He loves car rides, is great on a leash, loves to sun bathe and never passes up on a treat! Charley is completely house broken. He has been looked over by a vet and Charley has a clean bill of health!
Charley gets along great with other dogs, but he would do best in a home with dogs who are respectful of their elders and don't jump on him. He pays no mind to cats. He's being fostered in a home with two children and welcomes all the head scratches from them as well! He's a very happy old man whose tail wags whenever meeting someone new.
Don't overlook Charley because of his age. He's a good boy who wants nothing more than to live out his golden years with a new best friend!
