Faith - Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Amherst, Virginia

When Faith arrived in July as a stray she had a bad case of sarcoptic mange. With vet exams, medications & weekly baths she's a new dog and ready for a home!
We're so proud of her recovery.

She still has a little more hair to recover on her back but she's rapidly improving daily.

Animal Control named her Faith with the faith that we could get her well, healthy & her coat under control.
With many medicated baths, medications & devotion towards her care she's made huge progress.

Faith was spayed on Wednesday, she also received a dental & growth removal.
The additional surgeries will be at no cost to her new family.

At 2+ yrs. old, she's on the smaller side at just 33 pounds.

Dog friendly, she sits on a dime, takes treats gently and walks nicely on a leash. She would also do well with children.

Super sweet, she's certainly done her time with us and has been an excellent resident at the shelter.

We didn't want to post her originally, she looked & felt miserable & defeated.
We're so happy she's recovered beautifully!

Her adoption fee is $150.
