Well, I was adopted as a puppy from Home For Good. And today I became an "until dog". Yep, until my family had a second baby, 1 year ago. A baby and a dog was verrryyy overwhelming. So, I got thrown out with the dirty bath water. My family handed over my leash, no food, no bed, no toys, nothing I had known for the past 3 years. They never even looked back. Boy did I pick them wrong forever family. Well that brings us to now....I am a stunning Yellow Labrador mix, and 3 years old weighing in at 60 pounds and once again looking for "my family". I am housebroken, handsome, sweet, and easy going! I do need leash manners as my family only threw me in their backyard and I never smelled the scent of fresh grass and the neighborhood. I have a laid-back personality and a way of making everyone around me feel at ease.

I do not need to be the center of attention—I'm simply happy to be by your side, enjoying whatever the day brings. Whether it’s going for a leisurely stroll, hanging out with people, and I love kids.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
