Labrador Retriever and Pomeranian Dogs Available for Adoption in Doylestown, Pennsylvania

WALTER

Labrador Retriever, Pomeranian
🇺🇸
Doylestown, Pennsylvania
April 30th
male, medium, baby

DESCRIPTION

At 18 weeks old and about 13 lbs, Walter looks like he wandered straight out of the woods—fluffy, dark, and absolutely resembling a tiny black bear cub. But don’t let that “wild” look fool you... this boy is all softness and love.

Walter is the kind of puppy who melts into you. He’s incredibly sweet, gentle, and tuned into his people, already showing how smart he is as he learns the ropes of home life. He’s sleeping through the night (yes, really!) and doing so well with house training, which is no small thing for a pup his age.

He has a calm, easygoing nature but still brings that perfect puppy joy—curious, playful, and happiest when he’s near you. Whether he’s following you from room to room, curling up nearby, or quietly taking in the world, Walter just wants to be part of your life.

The best part? He’s wonderfully adaptable. Walter would thrive in a family with kids, a home with other dogs, or even as your one-and-only best friend soaking up all the love.

He’s at that perfect stage where his personality is shining, and he’s ready to bond deeply with his forever family. Whoever adopts Walter isn’t just getting a cute puppy—they’re getting a loyal companion who will grow up loving you with his whole heart.

Please email us at AlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com for more info or an application. (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) NOTE: Most puppies do best in the company of an older dog who can teach them "doggy manners," so homes with at least one other dog usually will be given preference in puppy adoptions. Please read Suzanne Clothier's wonderful article, "It Takes a Pack to Raise a Puppy!" PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US! We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used. For more information on the dangers of electric-shock collars, please visit banshockcollars.ca/studies.php . We do not have an online adoption application; to request an application, e-mail us atAlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com. To speed e-mail processing time, be sure to note the name of the dog you are inquiring about in the Subject line. For Meet & Greet times and locations, visit our home page, where you also will find information on our adoption process and fees. FOSTER FAMILIES ARE LIFESAVERS!! Can you open your heart and home for a few weeks to homeless shelter dog? Remember, by fostering a dog, you save TWO lives — that of your foster dog, and that of the dog who takes his place in the shelter! Come to a Meet & Greet and find out if fostering is for you — there's no reward quite like the feeling that you've saved a life ... or two!
