**Meet Bestest Boy Barney – small pup, BIG personality 🐾💙**

Hi hi! Barney here. Yes, *that* Barney—the one they keep calling the “bestest boy”… and honestly, I’m starting to believe them.

I’m **9 weeks old**, a scruffy little **terrier mix**, and I weigh about 10 pounds of wiggly, happy energy. The nice lady who found me and my brothers says I might grow up to be around 45–50 pounds, but for now I’m just focused on very important things… like snacks, naps, and investigating literally everything.

Let me walk you through a typical Barney moment.

Earlier today, I discovered a leaf. Not just any leaf—*the* leaf. It moved. I chased it. It escaped. I chased it again. I celebrated like I had just won the Olympics… and then immediately fell asleep in the middle of the yard.

That’s me in a nutshell.

I’m the kind of puppy who:

* Believes every object is either a toy or could *become* a toy
* Has zoomies that come out of nowhere and go full speed
* Gives the sweetest puppy kisses you didn’t even know you needed
* And crashes hard after playtime like I ran a marathon (look at my nap position in the picture)

But don’t let my silly side fool you—I am incredibly sweet. I love people so much. I want to be where you are, doing whatever you’re doing. Sitting? I’m in your lap. Walking? I’m right behind you. Need a best friend? I volunteer.

I’m already up to date on my vaccines, and I’m learning all the puppy basics—like potty training, good manners, and why everyone keeps saying “Barney, that’s not yours” (still unclear, but I’m working on it).

Life didn’t start out easy for me and my brothers—we were found on our own—but you’d never know it now. I’ve decided life is meant to be fun, full of love, and shared with my people.

One day, I’m going to grow into a loyal, goofy, heart-stealing companion who makes you laugh daily and reminds you that the little things (like leaves) are actually the big things.
