Peaceful, calm, sweet natured, doting middle aged lady! Ā CINDY is the best folks. Ā Our retriever/houndy girl is such the chill pill and slowlyĀand most carefully goes aboutĀher daily business. ĀArriving as a stray, Āit's unclear what her formerĀlife might have looked like but no doubt, this girl loves being near her person, is so polite and very easy in her ways. ĀCindy has been excellentĀat meeting other dogs leash walking and in a play group setting.... you guessedĀit, Āshe's never pushy, she's respectful and super kind. During her latest play group, after nicely interacting with others, she opted to stretch out and sunbathe and watch everyone play. Ā A modest 42lbs, Ātake a seat in one of our play yards and Cindy's little head is in your lap. ĀGive her a few more minutes and she mightĀput her paws in your lap and stretch up so she can more easily reach your face and deliver a feather soft kiss of appreciationĀto you!! ĀWe ADORE this mild mannered but sweet as they are made girls!! ĀPlease come and meet her and plan on taking her home.

Facebook Update April17: CINDY is warming OUR hearts one walk at a time. Our pretty, mid-sized lady arrived as a stray looking pretty rough and oh my, she was so very quiet and a bit withdrawn. The magic of a few days and several walks with volunteers and we have discovered Cindy's smile, her waggy tail and her soft, doting hugs of affection.

Cindy is one of our oldest dogs on the adoption floor at 9yrs. This girl is calm, polite, has done well in doggy play groups (she's not much of a player - she prefers to sunbathe and watch the fun!) and wins the award for "Most Kind Dog."
