Our good friend TOAST has hardlyĀlost a beat in beautifully settling in and charming us! ĀFound as a stray, he was a bit ribby upon arrival but already he's started to fill out and truly looks so magnificent. ĀDressed for success in his dark brindle coat and tall white socks, ĀToast has the perfect smile and soft tail wag to let you know he's ready to be your new, best friend. ĀPolite, chill and mild mannered, ĀToast is excellent on the leashĀand skillfully skims along all the noisey kennels as he exits for an easy paced walk. Ā Kind and thoughtful in his ways, ĀToast has done well in randomly meeting other 4 leggeds while out and about and is never pushy and or in your face. ĀTake a seat in our play yard area and Toast will carefully sniff and explore aroundĀwhile intermittentlyĀchecking back in with you. ĀWe are drawnĀto this peacefulĀfella andĀcan't wait to meet the family that feels he's ideally suited for them. Might it be you?
ABOUT: HOUND DOG BREED
The hound dog breed is a diverse group known for their incredible hunting abilities and keen sense of smell. These dogs are esteemed for their athleticism, endurance, and loyalty, making them excellent companions for active individuals and families alike. With a rich history of assisting hunters in tracking and trailing game, hounds possess a strong prey drive and a distinctive bay when on the hunt. Hounds come in various sizes and coat types, each with its unique characteristics, but they all share a remarkable intelligence and a friendly disposition.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
