Meet Shorty!

Shorty is a 3 year old female Dachshund/Lab mix weighing around 45 pounds, and she is truly one of the cutest dogs you’ll ever meet. With her long, long body, tiny little legs, and adorable Lab-shaped head, this low-rider girl is guaranteed to turn heads everywhere she goes. For anyone who loves the short-legged pups, Shorty is an absolute dream!

But she’s not just adorable — she’s also incredibly sweet and loving. Shorty absolutely adores people and thrives on affection. She loves giving cuddles just as much as receiving them, and one of her favorite things in the world is snuggling up in bed completely buried under the covers. She’s affectionate, loyal, and happiest when she’s close to her people.

Shorty is also wonderful in the car and enjoys being included in adventures. She likes going for walks, exploring new places, and being part of whatever her humans are doing. She has a playful side while still being a fantastic cuddle buddy, making her a really well-rounded companion.

She has done very well in her foster home with other dogs, though she tends to prefer more submissive dogs since she likes being the one in charge. She coexists nicely with the right canine friends, but she definitely enjoys being the head honcho of the group.

No cats for Shorty, please — she thinks chasing them is far too fun and would not make a good feline companion.

Overall, Shorty is just an all-around wonderful dog. She’s loving, cuddly, playful, adventurous, and full of personality. She’s the kind of dog who quickly becomes part of the family and steals everyone’s heart along the way.

Shorty is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and will come with a health certificate prior to adoption. She is crate trained and house trained.
