He is available for adoption within a 1-hour radius of Wake Forest, NC so he can receive his treatment, which the rescue will cover the expenses for when it is time. And don't worry, our rescue will guide you through the process.

Kirby is a lovable boy with a huge smile and a heart as big as his puppy-dog eyes. This sweet pup thrives on affection and will happily soak up all the belly rubs and attention you're willing to give. He's the kind of dog who quickly becomes your little shadow and will follow you from room to room to keep you company!! He loves being with his favorite person. With his happy spirit and affectionate nature, Kirby brings a special kind of joy to everyday life.

Kirby has a fun, playful energy and loves to stay active, so keeping him mentally and physically engaged will help him truly shine. He would absolutely adore a home with a big yard where he can stretch his legs, explore, and enjoy playtime, but he's just as happy heading out for one-on-one walks and taking in the world right by your side. He'd thrive with another playful pup to romp around with, though it's not a deal breaker; he'll be just as content if his family is ready to provide plenty of fun, attention, and interactive time together.

This sweet boy would do best in a home with older kids who can match his enthusiasm. He has a lot of lovable energy and, in his excitement, may accidentally knock over little ones; of course, never on purpose, just pure joy spilling over. Kirby hasn't been tested with cats yet, so we're unsure how he'd do in a feline household (let us know if you need that and we will try to arrange it).

Along with his playful side, Kirby settles in beautifully and enjoys plenty of calm, cozy downtime. Whether he's curled up beside you or gently nudging your hand for more love, he's all about connection and companionship.
