Labrador Retriever and Black Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption in Austin, Texas

Maggie and her siblings were picked up as strays and taken to a rural shelter we help. They were going to be euthanized because the shelter was full. Thankfully, one of our fosters agreed to bring Maggie into her home, and she has been in our care since April. She has completed her veterinary care, so we hope she’ll find a family soon!

Maggie has done great with children as young as 6. She loves to play with other dogs of any size, and she is also cat friendly. She is house trained, leash trained and crate trained. She has an outgoing personality and loves any attention she can get.

Maggie is 5 months old and weighs 24 pounds. We think she’s a Lab mix, and will be a medium sized adult.

Maggie is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
