Bingo was found as a stray and taken to a rural shelter we help in South Texas. She wouldn’t put any weight on her back left leg, so she was going to be euthanized. Our volunteers met her at the shelter and they couldn’t leave her behind.
Our veterinarian determined that Bingo had an old break in her leg, and it was best to amputate. She had surgery in early March, and she has been recovering in a foster home. We hope someone will love Bingo just the way she is and give her a wonderful home.
Bingo is a VERY smart pup. She is treat motivated, and learns quickly. She is house trained and likes to go for walks. She isn’t a high energy pup and really loves a cuddly bed. She does great with other dogs of any age and size.
Bingo is 6 months old and weighs 25 pounds. We think she’s an Australian Shepherd mix. She is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
Bingo can arrive in Dewitt, New York on 5/9. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt.
