Hello family, it’s Marg here, short for Margarita.
I am excited you want to learn more about me- I am a sweet, fun, gentle and friendly pup. My foster mom says I’m unique because she’s not quite sure what breed mix I am. Probably a doodle/terrier mix. She says it doesn’t matter what mix I am because I’m sweet, listen well, & will cuddle up on the couch next to her.
My foster mom says I’m a very good girl. She appreciates I’m not a barker & I don’t really vocalize much at all even when my foster dad comes home from work. My foster home has a few dogs and we all have a blast outside running, chasing, tumbling. I’m starting to get a better idea how to play fetch with my foster sissy & brother.
I get along with other dogs, both big & small. I haven’t had the opportunity to play with cats yet but I’m sure we’d find a mutual understanding of how to play & get along.
My foster mom has been taking me on walks to practice my leash skills. She says I’m a pro at walking on a leash. I currently have a big fenced yard to run around in which I do love.
I’m working hard on potty training & I’m almost there. I sleep all night long in a crate. I do occasionally whimper when the lights first go out, foster dad is grateful it’s only for a minute or two until my eyes adjust to the dark. If the crate door is left open I will snuggle up with my blanket & a toy for a nap.
I know how to sit. I’m currently working on sitting quietly & staying until my foster mom or dad says, “OK,” when it’s time to eat. I’m eager to learn anything you want me to know, toss me a treat, & my attention is yours. I’m trying to get the hang of ringing the bells when I need to go out.
My foster mom says I’d be a great companion as both an only dog and as a second dog. I like kids of all ages. In fact I’d love to have some kids to grow up with. I’d be happy being the center of all your attention to.
I am excited to meet you and begin our life together!
