Name: Samson
Age: 1 year
Weight: 18 lbs
Breed: Small Terrier Mix
Status: Compact, handsome, and ready to see what this whole “forever” thing is about.

About Me:
Hi, I’m Samson! I’m a 1-year-old, 18-pound terrier mix with a bright little face, a lean build, and a smile that says I’m pretty excited about whatever we’re doing next.
I’ve officially graduated from tiny puppy status, but I’m still a young guy with plenty of fun ahead of me. I’m just the right size to be your everyday sidekick—big enough to keep up with the action, small enough to fit comfortably into your life, and cute enough to convince you that whatever I want was probably your idea in the first place.
I’m ready to find my people, settle into a life of my own, and figure out all my favorite things along the way. Maybe it’s long walks. Maybe it’s toys. Maybe it’s commandeering your favorite spot on the couch. There’s only one way to find out!

Best Qualities:
A very happy face: I’ve got bright eyes, a big smile, and the kind of expression that makes it look like someone just told me the best news ever.
Fun without the jumbo size: At 18 pounds, I’m a great little adventure buddy who won’t require his own zip code on the couch.
Young & ready for life: At just a year old, there are still so many places to go, things to learn, and memories to make. I’m hoping my forever family will be there for all of them.
All the charm: Small package, curious personality, and just enough character to keep life interesting—that sounds like a pretty good combination to me.

Ideal Match:
I’m looking for someone who wants a fun little companion rather than a decorative couch pillow. I’d love a family who will include me in their everyday life, give me opportunities to explore and play, and continue helping me learn along the way. I’m young, so having people who appreciate a little terrier enthusiasm and can provide consistency will help me settle into my new life.

Deal Breakers:
If you’re looking for a dog who plans to spend his entire life watching the world from the couch, I may not be your guy. I’m young, curious, and still have plenty of living to do! I’ll also need a family willing to give me time to adjust, learn their routine, and continue working on my manners. I may come in a convenient 18-pound package, but I’m still a real dog who needs activity, attention, and involvement in family life.

Fun Fact:
I have the kind of face that makes “just one treat” turn into three. I can’t explain it—it just happens.
