Yale - Jack Russell Terrier Dog for Adoption in Toronto, Ontario

Yale is a 15-pound terrier mix, approximately 2 years old. He is a quirky fellow with a gentle, friendly nature. He sports the cutest little mohawk all the way down his back, and his puppy eyes will melt your heart.

Yale is a little shy at first but comes around quickly. He is excellent with dogs, cats and kids. He would do well with a canine companion at home, but would also likely be quite content as on only dog - his favourite thing is to be with his person, whether he’s exploring on a walk or snuggled up next to you on the couch.

His housetraining is going very well - he has the odd accident but will look for a pee pad to use if needed. He walks very nicely on leash. Yale is a quiet boy, very food motivated, and happy to nap after a good walk. He is used to having his foster mom home with him most of the time, but does not demonstrate anxiety when he needs to stay home alone.

His best match would be someone willing to continue to nourish his confidence through training and new adventures. Little Yale is so excited to meet his forever family!
