Luke- little Luke, big personality - Jack Russell Terrier and Schnauzer Dog for Adoption in Ocean Township, New Jersey

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.NJ

Luke is a sweet boy who is looking for a fresh start. He will be arriving to a NJ foster home on 10/10!

Meet Luke — our best guess is a Jack Russell Terrier/Mini Schnauzer mix, possibly with a little wire-haired terrier flair thrown in for good measure. Whatever his DNA says, one thing is certain: this boy is packed with personality.

Luke is smart, confident, loyal, and very devoted to his people. He loves having a person to call his own and is eager to please once he knows you’re on his team. He listens well, learns quickly, and brings that classic terrier spark: bold opinions, big feelings, and the occasional belief that he should probably be in charge of everything.

Luke may be older than we think but still has plenty of pep in his step. He gets the zoomies, loves to play, and keeps us laughing with his entertaining little character. He has met roughly two dozen dogs and has done wonderfully with nearly all of them, so he may enjoy having a well-matched canine friend—or being the star of the show himself.

Luke would thrive with someone who understands and appreciates terriers: someone who enjoys a clever, spirited companion and can give him structure, consistency, and plenty of love. In return, you’ll get a loyal little sidekick who will happily keep life interesting.

Smart. Spunky. So loyal.

Luke is ready to find his person—could it be you?

Luke is fixed, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines. His

adoption donation is $500.
