Moochie is a sweet boy who is looking for a fresh start. He's currently with one of our partner rescues in Louisiana. Foster-to Adopt is available to ensure we have the perfect match.

Meet Mookie, a tiny bundle of love with the biggest heart. This adorable Chihuahua mix was rescued off the streets alongside his brother, Tweety, and he’s been making up for lost time with affection ever since.

Mookie is about 5 years old and full of charm. He’s incredibly sweet and gentle—even with the tiniest puppies—and has a soft, loving nature that makes everyone fall for him. He’s kennel-trained, quickly learned to use a doggy door in his foster home, and settles in nicely with a little routine.

And when he’s happy? Get ready for the cutest little zoomies you’ve ever seen.

With his unique coat pattern and soulful eyes, Mookie is as beautiful on the outside as he is on the inside. He’s a total love bug who just wants someone to adore—and he’ll give that love right back tenfold.

Mookie is fixed, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines. His adoption donation is $500.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
