Chowder - Jack Russell Terrier Dog for Adoption in Beavercreek, Oregon

Chowder is a handsome, lively little pup that we rescued out of a California shelter. He was mostly in a foster home in California where he received lots of good socialization and handling. He is such a happy, confident little guy!

- Approximate date of birth: 7/1/26

- Weighed 8 pounds on 10/29/26 and we believe Chowder will likely top out under 25 pounds full grown. We cannot guarantee size at maturity but he should be a smaller dog. We have no parent dogs to reference.

- Best guess on breed is Jack Russell Terrier mix

- Fostered with gentle kids and other adult dogs to show him the way.

- We have not seen him with cats yet but think he is young enough that he will probably do fine with them.

- Very playful and loves his toys

- Eager to engage with humans

- Snuggly and can settle in the home

- Learning crate and potty training and doing well with that

- Will benefit from an active adopter who enjoys training, adventures and exercising their dog

- Fenced backyard preferred due to his activity level

Chowder is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, dewormed, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Portland or Tualatin.
