Jack Russell Terrier and Dachshund Dogs Available for Adoption in Key West, Florida

Meet Bugsy! This 14 year old jack russell terrier/dachshund mix recently joined our Marathon Campus when his owner sadly went into hospice and did not have any friends or family to take him. Entrusted with his beloved companion of 14 years, we're looking to find Bugsy a loving forever home!

Bugsy may be 14 but trust us, he does not look or act like it. His teeth are great, his coat is shiny, he doesn't have any lumps, bumps, aches or pains. In fact, he still enthusiastically plays with toys as voraciously as he did in his younger years. We even did bloodwork to ensure that Bugsy was as healthy on the inside and he appeared on the outside and you betcha, he sure is!
