History: Mapi was rescued from an abusive situation along with five siblings. Three of her siblings have been adopted, leaving Mapi and her sister Racoon still waiting for their families.

Mapi has a wonderful combination of curiosity and sweetness. Her name is short for "mapache," which means raccoon, and she has a gentle personality that becomes more apparent as she gets comfortable. Give this girl a little time and she'll show you just how loving she can be.

Mapi would do best with a patient adopter who understands that she can be shy and nervous at first. She enjoys quiet walks and does well with other dogs. A calm environment where she can build confidence and develop a relationship with her person would be ideal.
