History: Born in Mexico in 2020 and rescued by TBL in August 2020. Manta was adopted in September 2020 and returned in May 2026 due to adopters having a now toddler.

Under calm leadership, she has proven to be a total rockstar who is friendly, confident, and loves meeting new people!

If you love the beach, Manta is your ultimate partner. She is an absolute natural in the sand and surf, where she is fantastic with every human and dog she meets. Got a frisbee? Get ready to be amazed. Manta is an incredibly agile athlete who loves leaping to catch a disc (and if you throw a stick, she'll happily chase that too--though she politely passes on tennis balls!). On the leash, she is a dream--her tail is up, she's happy, and she eagerly greets volunteers and potential adopters with a wagging tail.

While she has the speed and athleticism of a sighthound outside, Manta turns into a total couch potato indoors. She has excellent house manners:
