Meet Melody! This sweet little Italian Greyhound is 7 months old (DOB: 2/4/2026) and weighs 9 pounds. Melody was surrendered to us by her previous family who realized they were unable to provide her with the attention and care she needed. She’s now ready to find her perfect forever family and discover just how wonderful life can be!

Melody is a happy-go-lucky, friendly, and outgoing girl who absolutely loves attention! She never meets a stranger and is immediately friendly with new people and will happily accept pets from everyone. She’s curious about the world around her and has such a fun, lovable personality. Melody is a tiny girl, so her forever family will need to be especially mindful of her delicate legs. Rough play, jumping on and off furniture, and other situations where she could take a hard tumble should be avoided to help keep this girl safe and injury-free.

Melody previously lived in an apartment and wasn’t accustomed to regular walks, so she can be a little nervous when experiencing unfamiliar noises. She’s adjusting well in her foster home, but she’ll benefit from a patient family who can help build her confidence at her own pace.

She’s also working hard on her potty and crate training. Melody was previously pee-pad trained and is now learning that outside is the place to go potty.

Melody is a precious little puppy with so much love to give, and we can’t wait to see her blossom into the confident, happy companion she’s meant to be.

**The collar shown in these photos was for flight risk safety management only while acclimating to outdoor exposure, due to limited exposure to being outdoors before coming to Tiny Paws. It was used as a backup without any pressure being put on the trachea, just in case something failed with the harness and first leash.**
