DESCRIPTION
Pear (Aka Thelma) is a great puppy! At 5-6 months old, she is already crate trained, potty trained (most dogs need a quick refresher in a new home though), has been practicing off-leash manners already with foster, LOVES hiking, good with kids, good with dogs and cats (though if they run she will chase like most puppies).
She is very submissive when meeting new dog friends. However, she is still all puppy energy and very playful. These girls will need lots of exercise and mental stimulation every day to keep them happy and well-behaved.
With humans, Pear is very affectionate and is happy to lay on or near them.
We’re not really sure the breed mix on Pear or her sister since they were found abandoned in TX with no mom or dad nearby. They are wirey haired and currently about 30 lbs but we expect them to keep growing for a while though we’re not entirely sure how big they’ll get.
Pear and her sister are parvo survivors and we don’t expect this to hinder them in any way long term since it was caught and treated quickly and they’ve been doing great ever since.
If you’d like to meet and adopt Pear, please fill out an application as she’ll be ready to meet and go home with an approved adopter on June 6th!
