Hello, I’m Chanto. I’m 6 years old, handsome, white, long-haired, neutered, and up to date on my shots. My hobbies include sitting beside my favorite person, following them around the house, and performing a tasteful little dinner howl when the kitchen staff falls behind schedule.
I’m looking for an experienced husky person who appreciates companionship, a consistent routine, and personal space. Please review my roommate agreement:
Adults only. No children.
Only pet. No dogs or cats. I’m requesting the entire pet spotlight.
A secure 6–8-foot fence is required. No 4-foot fences. I’m not usually an escape artist, but I have jumped a fence to follow my sister. Apparently, family loyalty comes with altitude.
Now, the important part: my handling boundaries.
My belly, butt, and feet are off-limits to strangers. I have tried to bite strangers who touched those areas. I need someone experienced who will respect my physical space and make sure other people do, too. As we build trust, I become more comfortable—but that trust takes time.
I’ll often walk up to new people hoping for some head pets, but I still need my person to keep an eye on how I’m feeling. If I get a little stiff or my tail stops wagging, I may need a break. Someone who notices those little signals and kindly gives me space helps me feel safe while we get to know each other.

A daily walk or two suits me nicely. I don’t need a nonstop exercise marathon.

I need frequent potty breaks and a consistent schedule to avoid accidents. With that routine, I do great! Crating is recommended when I’m left alone to help me stay successful.
