Meet Ellie! Ellie had a rough life before joining our RMG family. Fending for herself for who knows how long in an industrial area outside of Atlanta, dodging all of the truck traffic; followed by a stint in a metro area shelter for the legally required stray hold; and then battling the typical respritory infection that comes with being in an overcrowded shelter. But all of that is behind her now! She's ready to close the door on that chapter of her life and begin the best one yet!
Ellie is about 4 yrs old and small for a husky, not quite 40 lbs. She's the most lovable girl who will gladly sit in your lap all day soaking up as much love and affection as she can. Ellie is great with other dogs and will need another dog in her forever home. True to her breed, Ellie is a talker - she loves to tell you all about her day and anything else she feels her person must know! Because of her love for conversation, Ellie is not well suited for apartment or townhome life - single family homes with a securely fenced yard are a must have for this girl.
