Meet Kody
Kody is looking for the kind of home where he can finally exhale and know he’s not going anywhere again.
After being surrendered to the shelter, Kody was rescued and is now living in a foster home where we’re getting to see what a truly wonderful dog he is. He is loyal, loving, affectionate and dog-friendly — the kind of dog who bonds deeply with his people and just wants to be part of their world.
Kody is currently working with a trainer on separation anxiety. He’s making progress, but his ideal family will understand that this is something that takes patience, consistency and time. We’d love to find him a home where someone works from home or is home often, especially while he continues building confidence being alone.
His dream home would have:
* A fenced yard where he can relax, play and enjoy being outside
* A family who is home more often than not
* People willing to continue the training and structure he’s already receiving
* Lots of love, patience and reassurance
* A canine friend could be a great fit, as Kody is dog-friendly
Kody didn’t choose to lose his first home. Now we want to make sure the next one is truly forever.
He is a very good dog who loves his people fiercely and has so much love to give. He just needs someone willing to give him the security and consistency he’s been missing.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will love being by your side, Kody might be your boy.
