Kermit is approximately 3 years old and is in foster care in Kermit, Texas. This mellow Husky mix is the doggy version of Shaggy from Scooby-Doo—laid-back, snack-loving, and happiest wherever his people are. He'll quietly follow you from room to room, happily share the couch, and soak up all the love you have to give.

Kermit is housetrained, walks beautifully on leash, rides great in the car, and knows several basic commands, including sit, down, and load up. He's also comfortable in a kennel and has wonderful manners, even at the vet.

He gets along great with dogs, cats, strangers, and older kids, and has shown no signs of resource guarding or territorial behavior.
